The Holland Haven Marathon is a unique event which traverses the shores of Lake Michigan. Runners will get to experience the beautiful lake shore as they travel from Holland to Grand Haven. This point-to-point marathon follows Lakeshore Drive past summer cottages, over majestic hills and past the sandy beaches into Grand Haven. The early September weekend allows for mild weather and a last chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Boston qualifying hopefuls will love this opportunity to make the cut only ten days before registration opens. The 26.2 mile course is USATF certified as a Boston qualifier.
